Lustful Victor. A game by it’s own title should give a clue on the type of game it is. And as one to dabble in the, let’s say spicier side of gaming, that I was not able to ignore now that I have my own medium to post about NSFW games safely.

Without further ado, lets get into some of the important stuff.

Lustful Victor is a platformer at heart, with combat a close second. Controlling the main character, Noelle, felt okay. Movement was smooth and inputs we responsive across controller and keyboard. The combat is very simple, it’s just a single button as long as you are standing still. Combat boils down to shooting a gun in whatever direction you are facing, and that’s about it.

Level and Enemy design is alright, but a little repetitive. The background while beautifully crafted seems to repeat every so often. The characters and actions going in the background are repeated very often. The enemies are not all that diverse either, but I feel like it’s enough for a small indie title as this one. Aside from the boss fights, you will find a mix of Slugs, Dogs, Robots, A Horse (I think), and some normal humans.

Each enemy has a specific hentai animation if they catch you while stunned, and if not broken quick enough will finish. You all know what I’m talking about. *wink wink*

Thankfully it’s not that hard to break out of these holds, unless you don’t want to break out that is.

Don’t worry, I won’t judge.

The bosses all have their own unique look and fighting style, even if Noelle’s never changes. These fights feel like they took longer than they needed to considering how few attacks is needed to take down most of the basic enemies. Not a large con, but feels like the bosses HP is a little over-tuned.

The biggest con to me is the upgrade system. It’s expensive and does not seem to make a large different if done or not. Each upgrade starts at $10,000 in game currency, going up by $100 for each subsequent upgrade.

The upgrade to the only attack(which is also just called “upgrade” in the status window), adds +1 damage. The base damage is 40, with two upgrades, the damage is 42. This makes almost no impact on the normal enemies as they all take the same amount of shots to take down.
There are upgrades for all “major” stats of Noelle, and none of them are really needed to finish the game.

There is also a tracker of all of the different ways Noelle has participated in the hentai scenes and with what/who, along with body measurements and other information. Doesn’t appear to have much important information, but is still handy if you are someone that wants to fill everything out.

Overall, with some balancing and tweaking of the combat and upgrade system and boss HP. I feel like this game has a good amount of promise. It was fun to play, and I do enjoy the animations and the gallery that is unlocked after you “beat” the game.

If you are in the market for a cheap, quick indie Hentai game. This may be up your alley.

An adult adventure with promise. Beautiful Pixel artwork and environments really shine through.
